Product Description:

Cefuroxime is used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria which include; infections of the respiratory tract (such as bronchitis); gonorrhea; infections of the ears, throat, tonsils; and urinary system infections (such as UTI). It belongs to a class of medications called cephalosporin antibiotics.

Directions to Use:

• Take Cefuroxime after food. This will help to make the treatment more effective. Swallow Cefuroxime tablets whole with some water.
• Don’t chew, crush or split the tablets this may make the treatment less effective.

Warnings and precautions:

• Tablets should not be crushed
• Cefuroxime can affect the results of a test for blood sugar levels, or a blood screen called the Coombs test
• Inform your doctor if you have a history of colitis, renal impairment, or seizure disorders
