• Pain caused by anal or rectal problems
• Hemorrhoidal disease

USES: This medication contains an antibiotic which helps prevent or treat an infection, an anesthetic which acts on the skin to decrease pain and a steroid which reduces inflammation. It is used in the treatment of hemorrhoids and other rectal conditions. HOW TO USE: This medication is for rectal use only. For best results, this medication must be used as prescribed usually once in the morning and evening and after each bowel movement. Do not use this more often or continue using this for longer than prescribed. Apply a small amount of the ointment to the affected rectal area as directed. If this is to be used inside the rectum, attach the rectal applicator onto the tube. Insert the applicator gently and to full extent into the rectum. Gently squeeze the tube to deliver the medication while withdrawing it. Rinse the applicator and wash hands after use.
