Product Description.

Silosin 8mg belongs to the group of medicines called 'alpha-blockers' used to treat the symptoms of an enlarged prostate gland (benign prostatic hyperplasia - BPH) in men. The symptoms include painful urination, difficulty in urination, excess urination, and urge incontinence (inability to hold urine for a long time). Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is a condition in which there is an enlargement of the prostate gland due to multiplication of the cells mostly in the men above 50 years of age. The growth of the prostate gland is non-cancerous in nature.

Dosage.

Take Silodal 8 Capsule 10's with food. Do not chew, break the tablet; swallow it as a whole with water. It should not be taken unless prescribed by a doctor. Your doctor will advise for how long you need to take Silosin 8mg depending upon your medical condition.

Side Effects.

Ejaculation disorders (orgasm with reduced or no sperm), dizziness, diarrhoea, stuffy nose (nasal congestion), and orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering in blood pressure leading to dizziness on standing) are the common side-effects of Silosin.  Please consult your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.
